The Toronto Argonauts will be without Ricky Ray for the foreseeable future.

The team confirmed on Tuesday that Ray will miss 3-to-6 weeks with a sprained MCL that he suffered in Monday's 30-17 win over the Montreal Alouettes.

Toronto's QB was injured in the fourth quarter Monday when Als' defensive lineman Vaughn Martin fell into the side of Ray's knee after a pass. It's the same injury the Sacramento State product suffered in 2013 that forced him to miss six games.

Ray was having perhaps his best game of the season. He was 29-for-34 for 235 yards and three touchdowns before getting injured.

The Argos may turn to back-up pivot Logan Kilgore for their next game on Sunday in Ottawa against the Redblacks.
