Ellis double-double leads No. 9 Kansas over Kansas State
Perry Ellis had 16 points and 12 rebounds in the ninth-ranked Kansas Jayhawks' 68-57 win over the Kansas State Wildcats on Saturday. Wayne Selden Jr. added 14 points and four blocks for the Jayhawks (18-3, 7-1 Big 12), who have won four in a row and sit atop the Big 12 standings. Brannen Greene tallied 11 points off the bench.

Lawrence, KS (SportsNetwork.com) - Perry Ellis had 16 points and 12 rebounds in the ninth-ranked Kansas Jayhawks' 68-57 win over the Kansas State Wildcats on Saturday.
Wayne Selden Jr. added 14 points and four blocks for the Jayhawks (18-3, 7-1 Big 12), who have won four in a row and sit atop the Big 12 standings. Brannen Greene tallied 11 points off the bench.
Thomas Gipson and Marcus Foster each scored 19 points for the Wildcats (12-10, 5-4), who have lost three of four.
Kansas started the game on a 20-5 run and never looked back. Ellis tallied eight points during the game-opening surge.
The Jayhawks limited Kansas State to 17.1 percent shooting in the first half and took a 33-17 lead into the break.
Greene's 3-pointer made it a 51-34 contest with 10:39 to play. The Wildcats, though, scored the next six points to get within 11.
Another trey from Greene and a Devonte' Graham layup put the game out of reach.
Game Notes
Kansas holds a sizable 188-92 advantage in the all-time series. The Jayhawks have won the last nine meetings in Allen Fieldhouse ... Frank Mason III had 10 points for Kansas, which plays Iowa State on Monday.
