BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Buffalo Bills re-signed linebacker Ikemefuna Enemkpali to their practice squad Monday.

Enemkpali returns to the Bills three days after he was released from the active roster.

Buffalo claimed Enemkpali off waivers Aug. 13, a day after he was cut by the New York Jets for breaking the jaw of quarterback Geno Smith during a locker room altercation.

Enemkpali could still be disciplined by the NFL for violating the league's personal conduct policy. He had extensive time appearing in three preseason games with Buffalo.

The Bills also re-signed defensive tackle Andre Fluellen to fill the final spot on the 53-man roster. The eight-year veteran spent training camp with Buffalo, but was among the final cuts Friday.

Pro Bowl defensive tackle Marcell Dareus won't immediately count against the roster because he will miss the opener against Indianapolis on Sept. 13 to serve a one-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.

Buffalo also signed quarterback Alex Tanney, offensive tackle Chris Martin, defensive end Cedric Reed and cornerback Jaylen Watkins to the practice squad.

Watkins is the brother of Buffalo wide receiver Sammy Watkins.
