Edmonton Eskimos quarterback Mike Reilly sustained a torn posterior cruciate, a partially torn medial collateral ligament and a medial meniscal tear in his left knee, medical tests havbe confirmed.  The 30-year-old quarterback is expected to need 10-12 weeks to recover from his injuries.

The injury happened in the fourth quarter of the Eskimos season opening loss to the Toronto Argonauts in Ft. McMurray last Saturday.

Reilly was 16-for-28 for 170 yards  with one touchdown and no interceptions prior to the injury.

The Eskimos have a bye in Week 2 and return to action July 9 Matt Nichols expected to start against the Ottawa Redblacks.
