Adrian McPherson is back in the CFL.

The former longtime Montreal Alouettes quarterback and backup to Anthony Calvillo has resurfaced with the Toronto Argonauts. The team announced the deal on Saturday.

McPherson is best known for his five year stint with the Als from 2008-13, but also signed with the Calgary Stampeders before he was placed on the retired list with a lingering hand injury from playing in the Arena Football League.

The 32-year-old is 145-243 for 1,505 passing yards and 10 touchdowns to six interceptions for his CFL career. The Florida State product also has 1,035 career CFL rushing yards.
