Harris has already appeared in five games in his first season with the Redblacks and had amassed 1,499 yards and thrown for nine touchdowns against just one interception.

The 30-year-old Harris is in his first season with the Ottawa franchise after spending the first four years of his CFL career with the Toronto Argonauts.

Burris, who has already missed time this season with a broken finger, has played in four games with the Redblacks and has 1,132 passing yards and has thrown six touchdowns and five interceptions overall.

The 41-year-old led the Redblacks to their first Grey Cup appearance last season, capturing the CFL’s most outstanding player award but has struggled so far this season.

The Redblacks are currently first in the East with a 4-3-1 record.
