BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Carl Klingberg had a goal and an assist while Connor Hellebuyck stopped 37 shots as the St. John's IceCaps downed the Binghamton Senators 5-2 on Friday in American Hockey League action.
Chase Balisy, Kyle MacKinnon, Scott Kosmachuk and Julien Brouillette also scored for the IceCaps (18-20-6), who produced all their offence in the third period.
Derek Grant and Chris Wideman supplied the scoring for the Senators (17-19-4) as Andrew Hammond turned away 33-of-37 shots in a losing cause.
St. John's went 1 for 2 on the power play while Binghamton scored once on three chances with the man advantage.
