ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Brandon Manning scored at 16:02 of the third period on the power play as the Lehigh Valley Phantoms edged the Toronto Marlies 3-2 in American Hockey League action on Saturday.

Scott Laughton and Nick Cousins also found the back of the net for the Phantoms (6-6-1), the Philadelphia Flyers' AHL affiliate.

Troy Bodie opened the scoring for Toronto (5-7-1), the farm team of the Maple Leafs. Greg McKegg had the other goal for the Marlies, who lost for the third-straight game.

Rob Zepp kicked out 28 shots for the win. Christopher Gibson made 28 saves for Toronto.

Both teams went 1 for 5 on the power play.
