As the best Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams in the world prepare for the $1 million Columbus major from March 29 to April 3, individual players wait and see as to whether they'll have extra duties in Ohio.

In addition to the CS:GO tournament featuring the top sixteen teams from around the globe, Major League Gaming has announced an all-star competition as part of the last day of the event.

With five teams from the Americas qualifying for Columbus - Team Liquid, Cloud9, Counter Logic Gaming, Luminosity Gaming and Team EnVyUs - there is enough regional talent to have a five-on-five Europe vs. the Americas matchup.

The rules stipulate that no more than two players from each team can be voted in by fans and a player will be ruled ineligible if his team advances to the finals of the tournament.

MLG’s Adam Apicella boasted on Twitter of the more than 200,000 votes that had already been cast, including who was leading the polls. In Europe, Fnatic’s Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer surged to the front while Luminosity Gaming’s Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo sits atop the Americas voting.
