TORONTO — Japan's Kei Nishikori beat Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 on Friday to advance to the Rogers Cup semifinals.

The third-seeded Nishikori will face second-seeded Stan Wawrinka of Switzerland on Saturday. Nishikori won in Memphis in February for his 11th ATP Tour title.

Wawrinka topped South Africa's Kevin Anderson 6-1, 6-3.

In night matches, top-seeded Novak Djokovic of Serbia faced fifth-seeded Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic, and fourth-seeded Canadian Milos Raonic played 10th-seeded Gael Monfils of France.
