CHICAGO — Ondrej Pavelec made 26 saves as the Manitoba Moose held on to defeat the Chicago Wolves 2-1 on Sunday in American Hockey League action.

Jack Roslovic broke a 1-1 tie at 19:48 of the second period and Pavelec shut it down in the third period as the Moose (9-7-2) held on for their second straight win.

Dan DeSalvo opened the scoring for the Winnipeg Jets' AHL affiliate in the first period, with Roslovic picking up an assist for a two-point night.

Scooter Vaughn responded for the Wolves (8-9-2) at 16:44 of the second.

Jordan Binnington kicked out 26-of-28 shots in a losing cause.

Manitoba went 2 for 5 on the power play while Chicago failed to score on its three chances with the man advantage.
