BOISBRIAND, Que. - Alexander Katerinakis scored twice and added an assist as the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada clinched a playoff spot with a 5-0 win over the Baie-Comeau Drakkar on Thursday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Pascal Corbeil had a goal and two assists for the Armada (24-31-9) while Yvan Mongo and Joel Teasdale added the others.

Francis Leclerc and Samuel Montembault combined to earn the shutout. Leclerc made 10 saves in 34:34 of action, but was ejected after fighting Baie-Comeau netminder Antoine Samuel. Both goaltenders received major penalties and game misconducts. Montembault stopped 10 shots in relief.

Samuel kicked out 19-of-20 shots for the Drakkar (10-48-5), who have lost five straight. Bo Taylor made 16 saves in 25:26 of relief.

Blainville-Boisbriand went 2 for 11 on the power play while Baie-Comeau failed to score on four chances with the man advantage.

QUEBEC CITY — Frederic Allard set up all four of his club's goals, including Nicolas Roy's winner early in the third, as Chicoutimi handed the Remparts their fifth straight loss.

Jeremy Groleau, Taylor Cooper and Zachary Lavigne also scored for the Sagueens (31-25-9), who got a 27-save outing from Julio Billia.

Ross MacDougall and Auguste Impose supplied the scoring for Quebec (28-29-7). Evgeny Kiselev turned away 18-of-21 shots in defeat.

HUSKIES 5 TIGRES 4

ROUYN-NORANDA, Que. — Jean-Christophe Beaudin struck twice as the league-leading Huskies edged Victoria for their 11th win in a row.

Alexandre Fortin, Gabriel Fontaine and Jeremy Lauzon also scored for Rouyn-Noranda (52-9-5) as Samuel Harvey made 22 saves for the win.

Mathieu Ayotte had a pair of goals and an assist for the Tigres (30-27-7), who are on a four-game slide. Alexandre Goulet and Mario Huber added the others while James Povall stopped 26-of-31 shots in defeat.
