CHARLOTTETOWN - Zachary Fucale stopped all 20 shots he faced as the Halifax Mooseheads blanked the Charlottetown Islanders 3-0 on Sunday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Nikolaj Ehlers scored on the power play and assisted on Halifax's (7-10-2) two other goals. Danny Moynihan scored 5:45 into the third period and Timo Meier added an empty-net goal with 1:27 left to play.

Mason McDonald made 35-of-37 saves for Charlottetown (8-9-2).

The Mooseheads went 1 for 5 on the power play, while the Islanders could not score on the three man advantages.

BOISBRIAND, Que. — Nikita Jevpalovs scored the eventual winner at 4:03 of the second period as Blainville-Boisbriand held on for a victory over the Voltiguers.

Philippe Sanche, Brendan Hamelin and Danick Martel also scored for the Armada (10-6-2), who led 4-1 before giving up two goals late in the second frame. Jevpalovs added two assists for a three-point day.

Joey Ratelle, Philippe Pelletier-Leblanc and Alexandre Grand-Maison scored for Drummondville (9-7-2).

CHICOUTIMI, Que. — Laurent Dauphin scored two goals and helped on two more to lead the Sagueneens over the Phoenix.

Samuel Hodhod added a goal and an assist for Chicoutimi (7-10-1), and Landon Schiller and Jeremy Lepine also scored.

Tim Wieser had the lone goal for Sherbrooke (13-6-0), on a power play in the third period.

VAL-D'OR, Que. — Louick Marcotte socred the decisive goal in the shootout to lift Gatineau over the Foreurs.

Joey Richard, Alexandre Alain, Andrew Abou-Assaly and Yakov Trenin scored in regulation for the Olympiques (10-7-4), who got out to an early 3-0 lead in the first period. Abou-Assaly and Trenin added shoot-out goals.

Shawn Ouellette-St-Amant, Anthony Richard, Jeremie Fraser and Julien Gauthier replied for Val-d'Or (6-11-2). Nicolas Aube-Kubel and Anthony Beauregard scored in the shootout.

VICTORIAVILLE, Que. — Gabriel Gagne struck twice as the Tigres powered past the Oceanic.

Yan Pavel Laplante had a goal and two assists for Victoriaville (10-5-3), Samuel Blais scored one and helped on another, and Carl Marois rounded out the Tigres' offence.

Anthony DeLuca had the lone goal for Rimouski (13-6-2) in the third period.
