QMJHL: Lazarev scores four, Eagles beat Islanders
Maxim Lazarev scored four times — including twice on the power play — and added an assist as the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles defeated the Charlottetown Islanders 6-2 on Friday night in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

CHARLOTTETOWN - Maxim Lazarev scored four times — including twice on the power play — and added an assist as the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles defeated the Charlottetown Islanders 6-2 on Friday night in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.
Alexandre Gosselin — also on the man advantage — and Evgeny Svechnikov found the back of the net in the third period for Cape Breton (24-24-5). The Screaming Eagles finished the game with three goals on eight power plays.
Filip Chlapik and Mitchell Balmas each had a goal for Charlottetown (27-23-4), which went 1 for 3 with the man advantage.
Miguel Sullivan had the win in net for Cape Breton, making 23 saves. Mason McDonald started for the Islanders, turning aside 27-of-33 shots in 49:52. Daryl MacCallum stopped all eight shots he faced in 10:08 of relief.

BATHURST, N.B. — Christophe Boivin scored 44 seconds into overtime on the power play as the Titan edged Saint John.
Andrew Ryan and Aaron Kerr had the other goals in regulation for Acadie-Bathurst (15-35-6). The win snapped a five-game losing skid.
