SAINT JOHN, N.B. - Egor Popov scored the tie-breaking goal at 18:54 of the third period as the Acadie-Bathurst Titan rallied to a 4-3 victory over the Saint John Sea Dogs on Thursday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Jeffrey Truchon-Viel, Yan Plourde and Andrew Ryan — with a short-handed goal — also scored for the Titan (10-22-5), who trailed 3-1 halfway through the second period.

Luke Green and Daniel Del Paggio had power-play goals for the Sea Dogs (20-9-5), who have lost three straight games. Julien Tessier rounded out the Saint John offence.

Alexandre Lagace started in net for Acadie-Bathurst, giving up two goals on 16 shots through 22:58. Jacob Brennan stopped 8-of-9 shots the rest of the way.

Sea Dogs goaltender Sebastien Auger made 20 saves in the losing effort.

The Titan failed to score on three power-play opportunities. Saint John scored twice on four chances with the man advantage.

CHARLOTTETOWN — Filip Rydstrom scored two goals and assisted on three more as the Islanders pummelled Halifax.

Oliver Cooper had two goals and added two helpers while Daniel Sprong also struck twice for Charlottetown (17-17-2). Bradley Kennedy and Alexandre Goulet had a goal and an assist apiece and Ross Johnston chipped in with four assists.

Danny Moynihan and Brett Crossley replied for the Mooseheads (17-15-3).

MONCTON, N.B. — Connor Garland, Alexandre Jacob and Kyle Tibbo scored two goals apiece as the Wildcats routed Cape Breton.

A flu outbreak on the Chicoutimi Sagueneens forced the postponement of tonight's game against the Baie-Comeau Drakkar. The Sagueneens had 12 players out with flu-like symptoms this week and were told to stay home to prevent the spread of the virus. A league statement said the decision to postpone the contest was made after receiving a medical report from the club. There was no immediate word on a makeup date.
