TSN Radio is proud to partner with the Breakfast Club of Canada on their 20th anniversary.

Breakfast Club of Canada is in 1328 schools across Canada with another 420 schools on the waiting list.

Over 152,000 children are enrolled and over 11,000 volunteers making sure that no child goes to class hungry.

Breakfast Club of Canada’s program allows:

•             Greater attention in school: As a result of breakfast programs, teachers report 30 additional minutes of effective teaching time.

•             Improved learning and concentration: 60% of educational material is delivered before lunch. Children need breakfast in order to start their day right.

•             Improved attendance: Children come to school for breakfast and stay to learn!

•             Increased self-esteem: Through our Six-Step Training Program, we teach staff and volunteers how to work with young people to build self-esteem in meaningful and long-lasting ways.

•             Reduced bullying: According to Education.com, one in three children experience bullying.

•            Hunger causes fluctuations in mood, anxiety and anger. A healthy meal helps to moderate these effects and teachers report less negative behaviour in class and on the playground.
