The Prince Albert Raiders have fired head coach Cory Clouston.

Clouston was in his second season as head coach of the team.

Assistant coach Dave Manson has been named interim head coach with a permanent head coach expected to be named shortly.

The Raiders went 41-41-3-2 under Clouston including a 6-9-0 record in 2014-15.

Clouston's highest-profile coaching job came as coach of the Ottawa Senators between 2009 and 2011. He has also previously served as head coach of the Kootenay Ice (2002-07) and the Brandon Wheat Kings (2011-12).
