Quarterback Derek Carr went down with a broken leg in the second last game of the regular season, and so too did the Oakland Raiders season.

The Raiders, who had already clinched a playoff spot, eventually fell in the first round of the playoffs to the Houston Texans with rookie Connor Cook behind centre.

With the Raiders back together for the first time since that loss, for offseason training, the good news is Carr is back and completely healed from his late-season leg injury.

"I've been running, jumping, throwing, cutting, everything," Carr told reporters Monday, the first day of the Raiders' offseason training at their facility. "I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to do absolutely everything."

Carr, who is expected to sign a long-term extension with the Raiders ahead of next season, was having an MVP type season last year before the injury. The 26-year-old had 3,937 yards and 28 touchdowns to just six interceptions.
