The Ottawa Redblacks announced Monday that quarterback Henry Burris has been placed on the one-game injured list, paving the way for Trevor Harris to make his first start for the team on Thursday against Montreal.

Burris, who last missed a game in 2007 with a shoulder injury, suffered a finger injury in Saturday's Grey Cup re-match against the Edmonton Eskimos.

Harris, who signed with Ottawa as a free agent last winter, came in for the 2015 CFL MOP in the third quarter and threw for for 292 yards and three touchdowns, including the overtime winner to Brad Sinopoli for a 45-37 victory.
