Chip Kelly appears set to make his return to the college football ranks with a big program, according to a report from ESPN.

ESPN's Mark Schlabach reports Kelly met with UCLA days after the Bruins fired Jim Mora and is expected to decide between that job and the Florida Gators.

Kelly has been out of coaching since being let go by the San Francisco 49ers at the end of last season. Prior to a four-year stint in the NFL with the 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles, Kelly had a successful run with the Oregon Ducks in the NCAA, winning a Rose Bowl and Fiesta Bowl and taking his team to the BCS National Championship Game. His NFL stint was far less successful, finishing with a 26-21 record with the Eagles and a 2-14 mark with the 49ers.

The Gators have been conducting a head coaching search since firing Jim McElwain earlier this season.
