The Montreal Alouettes released seven players Friday, headlined by veteran return man Larry Taylor.

Taylor returned to Montreal last season after three years with the Calgary Stampeders. In seven years split between the Alouettes and Stampeders, the 30-year-old has 5,249 kick return yards, 3,168 punt return yards, and three return touchdowns.

Taylor also has 126 rushing yards and 359 receiving yards with four offensive touchdowns.

Other players released by the Alouettes include fullback Samuel Fournier, running back Jordan Hall, defensive lineman Cory Grissom, defensive ends Jerome Raymond and Kris Redding, and linebacker Joe Thornton.
