Running back back Will Ford was one of three players released by the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Tuesday.

Ford was second on the team in rushing with 452 yards and six touchdowns. The South Carolina State product, who was in his first season with the Roughriders, also had 70 yards receiving and one touchdown. He started his CFL career with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2012.

Receiver Eron Riley and quarterback DeNarius McGhee were also released.
