The Round of 16 at the 2018 FIFA World Cup™ in Russia started with a bang on Saturday as France and Uruguay punched their tickets into the quarterfinals with impressive wins over Argentina and Portugal. Although we see the end of Cristiano Ronaldo's and Lionel Messi's World Cup campaigns, the knockout round continues with Spain taking on Russia and Croatia facing off against Denmark on Canada Day.

You can see Spain and Russia kick off the Sunday's action of the 2018 World Cup at 9am et/6am pt. on TSN1, TSN3, TSN5 and on CTV.  The game will also be streaming on TSN.ca and available on TSN Direct.

Spain struggled in the Group Stage, managing just a win and two draws on route to claiming Group B.

The team drew with Portugal but had a tough time with both Iran and Morocco.

David De Gea hasn't looked like the normal world beater that he ususally is with Manchester United.

But Spain is a veteran team that knows how to win knockout football and will be heavy favourites against the Russian team.

Diego Costa has been the forward in form for the team and will look to continue his success.

Meanwhile Russia, had an impressive Group stage until a 3-0 defeat to Uruguay in the final game.

Aleksandr Golovin had a coming out party the first two games of the tournament in massive wins against Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

However, Spain is a different animal and will be a huge test for the host national.

The final game of the day will be Group D winner's Croatia against Group C runner's up Denmark.

Croatia and Denmark can be seen Sunday at 1pm et/10am pt. across on TSN1, TSN3, TSN5 and on CTV.  The game will also be streaming on TSN.ca and available on TSN Direct.

Croatia cruised through the Group stage winning all three group games and getting all nine points.

They defeated all three teams with ease including Argentina.

Croatia boasts probably the strongest midfield in the tournament with the likes of Luca Modric and Ivan Rakitic and they have been work horses for the team so far in the tournament.

Denmark on the other hand are a hard team to break down and it could be difficult for Croatia to score since they don't have a true number nine in the lineup.

But despite that Croatia are still the heavy favourites to go through.

Denmark will once again need to rely on Christian Eriksen in the attack and continue their strong defensive play if they want to have a chance to move on.
