TSN’s BioSteel All-Canadian Basketball Game is set to tip off Tuesday at Toronto’s Mattamy Athletic Centre, and organizers today announced the final rosters for Team Red and Team White. As announced earlier this month, the game is a new showcase event spotlighting the next generation of Canadian basketball stars, including Thon Maker, Jamal Murray, and more.

The roster for the BioSteel All-Canadian Basketball Game features the Top 24 high school basketball players from across the country.

Vaughan, Ont.’s Kalif Young, a 6’9” junior who plays for the Athlete Institute, joins the roster of Team Red as the replacement for Milton, Ont.’s Kyle Alexander.

The athletes were chosen by an 11-person selection committee, led by Tony McIntyre, the BioSteel All-Canadian Basketball Game Operations Director and Selection Committee Chairman. The committee is comprised of a cross-section of Canadian basketball stakeholders, including provincial/territorial representatives, clubs, coaches, and scouts from across the country.

Also announced today were the celebrity coaches taking part in tomorrow night’s game. Bill Wennington, a three-time NBA champion and Chicago Bulls colour commentator, joins the coaching staff of Team White. Rowan Barrett, captain of Team Canada at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and current Assistant GM/Executive VP of Canada Basketball’s Senior Men’s Program, joins the coaching staff of Team Red.

As well, organizers announced that the BioSteel All-Canadian Basketball Game halftime show will be headlined by Canadian music legends Choclair and Jully Black.

TSN will broadcast the BioSteel All-Canadian Basketball Game tomorrow (Tuesday, April 14) at approximately 10pm et/7pm pt, immediately following the Toronto Raptors’ game against the Boston Celtics.

TSN’s BioSteel All-Canadian Basketball Game broadcast team features play-by-play commentator Dan Shulman, who has delivered the call for ESPN’s live coverage of NCAA basketball since 2001, NBA ON TSN analyst Leo Rautins, a member of the Canadian Basketball Hall of Fame, and host Kate Beirness.
