Smith, a senior wideout from the Iowa Hawkeyes, has signed with the Indianapolis Colts, reports ESPN's Adam Caplan.

A day later, G Charles Vaillancourt from Laval accepted rookie minicamp invites from the Giants and Raiders. If Vaillancourt impresses, he could be offered a contract by either of the teams.

Vaillancourt will be joined at the Giants facility by Mantioba Bisons linebacker DJ Lalama, who also agreed to attend minicamp on Sunday.
