TORONTO (December 10, 2015) – TSN announced today it has reached a new, comprehensive rights agreement with ATP, securing Canadian media rights to an extensive slate of ATP World Tour Masters 1000 and ATP World Tour 500 tennis tournaments. The addition of ATP World Tour tournaments complements the network’s exclusive live Canadian coverage of all four tennis Grand Slams.

The ATP World Tour Masters 1000 (featuring events in Indian Wells, Miami, Monte-Carlo, Madrid, Rome, Cincinnati, Shanghai, and Paris) and ATP World Tour 500 (featuring events in Rotterdam, Rio, Acapulco, Dubai, Barcelona, Halle, London, Hamburg, Washington, Beijing, Tokyo, Basel, and Vienna) are world-class tournaments headlined by the biggest names in men’s tennis, including Canadian stars Milos Raonic and Vasek Pospisil. The new agreement gives TSN media rights to marquee men’s tennis events each season, excluding Canadian events, culminating with the BARCLAYS ATP WORLD TOUR FINALS, live from The O2 in London.

“We are delighted that TSN has acquired rights to ATP World Tour Masters 1000 and ATP World Tour 500 events, along with our season finale, the BARCLAYS ATP WORLD TOUR FINALS,” said Mark Webster, CEO, ATP Media. “We have no doubt that TSN will provide the passion and superb production values required to showcase the finest male tennis players competing in the world’s most exciting venues.”

“With even more matches on TSN showcasing the biggest stars in men’s tennis, this new agreement is a winner for tennis fans across the country,” said Shawn Redmond, Vice-President of Programming, TSN. “The addition of ATP World Tour events to our schedule means TSN will deliver more world-class tennis across our expanded suite of five national feeds, and it’s a perfect complement to our exclusive multi-court coverage of all four tennis Grand Slams.”

Beginning February 2016, TSN will deliver live coverage of select matches from ATP’s slate of marquee tournaments across TSN’s expanded suite of five national feeds and TSN GO.
