Als' Sam injures back, won't play this week
Montreal Alouettes defensive end Michael Sam injured his back during a training session Tuesday and won't play against the Edmonton Eskimos on Thursday. The 25-year-old made his season debut last week in a loss to the Ottawa Redblacks in the nation's capital. Sam played a handful of downs against the Redblacks, but failed to record a tackle.
