The Toronto Argonauts removed quarterback Ricky Ray from the six-game Injury Reserve list on Wednesday.

With a bye in the schedule next week, head coach Scott Milanovich is hoping the three-time Grey Cup champion can return to action in Week 11.

Ray suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament in the fourth quarter of a 30-17 win over the Montreal Alouettes on July 29.

The Argos are 4-3 (1-1 in Ray's absence) and sit second in the East Division, one point shy of the first-place Redblacks. They next play host to the Edmonton Eskimos on Saturday.
