CTV’s extensive live coverage of SUPER BOWL 50 from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Cali. includes more than seven consecutive hours of pre-game programming with coverage beginning at 11 a.m. ET (see below for details; visit CTV.ca to confirm local broadcast times).

The live production of SUPER BOWL 50 features a variety of never-before-seen technological advances. Highlights include:
- EyeVision 360: a replay system comprised of 36 cameras, giving viewers a 360° perspective on the field
- Pylon Cameras: eight custom-molded pylons being used for the first time ever in a SUPER BOWL, housing 16 cameras to film the goal lines and sidelines on each side of the field

Immediately following the conclusion of CTV’s SUPER BOWL coverage, a new episode of the network’s hit series DC’s LEGENDS OF TOMORROW airs in the most coveted timeslot in primetime television, before returning to its regular timeslot of Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT on CTV and CTV GO, immediately following THE BIG BANG THEORY. Viewers can also watch a special post-SUPER BOWL broadcast of THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN featuring guests Zac Efron, Anna Kendrick, Adam DeVine, as well as legendary musician Elton John joining Corden for an installment of his signature Carpool Karaoke series, at 11:35 p.m. ET on CTV Two.

In this true football lovers’ show, CBS Sports’ lead NFL analyst and former N.Y. Giants Super Bowl XXI MVP Phil Simms takes a look back at the evolution of the Super Bowl over the last 50 years, highlighting a player or coach from each decade that represents what the SUPER BOWL was about at that time. Those highlighted include: Minnesota Vikings legendary Hall of Fame head coach Bud Grant (‘70s), Chicago Bears Hall of Famer Mike Singletary (‘80s), Hall of Famer Deion Sanders (’90s), Drew Bledsoe, talking about the Patriots teams of the 2000s, as well as others. In addition, the show features legendary broadcaster Dick Enberg, who called eight Super Bowls, including the first one where Simms worked as an analyst in 1996. Enberg talks about his memories as a broadcaster, including being involved with Super Bowl I in Los Angeles.

2 p.m. ET – THE SUPER BOWL TODAY (CTV)
In the hours leading up to the game, CBS Sports surrounds SUPER BOWL 50 with live reports from the team hotels and the stadium, in-depth features and interviews with players and coaches from the Panthers and Broncos, and X’s and O’s analysis from its roster of expert commentators.
