A Thanksgiving reunion is set to take place in Titletown.

The Green Bay Packers will host the Chicago Bears on American Thanksgiving night and retire the No. 4 of former quarterback Brett Favre.

However, the relationship between the team and their former star quarterback since 2008, when Favre retired and then subsequently unretired which led the team to trade him to the New York Jets for the upcoming season.

Favre played one season with the Jets before retiring and unretiring again. After which, he signed with the Packers' division rival Minnesota Vikings.

Favre played two seasons with the Vikings, returning to Green Bay twice with a 1-1 record at Lambeau Field.

Eligible for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016, Favre was expected to return to Lambeau Field last season but delayed the ceremonies due to the health of fellow Packers great Bart Starr.

Favre was elected to nine Pro Bowls as a member of the Packers and was a three first-team All-Pro.
