TORONTO — Michael Hutchinson stopped 39 shots as the Manitoba Moose continued their impressive run with a 2-1 victory over the Toronto Marlies on Saturday in American Hockey League action.

Peter Stoykewych and Patrice Cormier, into an empty net, scored for the Moose (20-5-3), the AHL affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets.

Manitoba improved to 12-0-1 in its last 13 games.

Jeremy Bracco responded late in the third period for Toronto (21-6-0), which is the Maple Leafs' affiliate. Garret Sparks turned aside 25 shots as the Marlies had their five-game winning streak ended.

The Moose were scoreless on four power plays and Toronto was 0 for 5.
