Andy Mulumba is staying in the NFL.

The Congo-born, Canadian citizen and Winnipeg Blue Bombers draft pick signed with the Kansas City Chiefs Monday. Mulumba played the past three seasons for the Green Bay Packers but was not tendered a contract as a restricted free agent after tearing his ACL in 2014 and playing sparingly last year.

Mulumba played 14 games his rookie year but has appeared in just eight since. The Eastern Michigan product has 35 tackles and one sack for his career.

The Blue Bombers drafted Mulumba second overall in 2013.
