B.C. Lions quarterback Travis Lulay will dress as the backup quarterback in Sunday's Eastern Semi-Final game against the Montreal Alouettes.
Lulay practiced throughout the week for the Lions and even took some first-team reps with the offence.
Lulay had been aiming for a late-season return after suffering a dislocated shoulder on Sep. 5 in a game against the Ottawa Redblacks. He was placed back on the 46-man roster Monday. He had previously been on the Lions' six-game injured list after choosing to forgo surgery and instead rehabilitate his throwing shoulder.
Veteran pivot Kevin Glenn has shouldered most of the responsibility behind centre in Lulay's absence and will start Sunday.
Another quarterback John Beck suffered a concussion in the last game of the season on a short yardage play. He will miss Sunday's game while following the concussion protocol.
Travis Partidge will be the Lions third and short-yardage quarterback. He will also serve as the team's emergency kicker.
