MANCHESTER, N.H. - Brian O'Neill's second goal of the game came 3:07 into overtime as the Manchester Monarchs edged the visiting St. John's IceCaps 2-1 on Saturday in American Hockey League action.

Jordan Weal assisted on both of his club's goals as Patrik Bartosak only had to stop 16 shots for the win.

Manchester (40-15-8) improved to 5-0-1 in its last six outings while handing St. John's its third-straight loss.

Brenden Kichton supplied the offence for the IceCaps (29-28-9), who got a 33-save performance from Connor Hellebuyck.

The Monarchs went 2 for 5 on the power play while St. John's failed to score on five chances with the man advantage.
