SARNIA, Ont. - Christian Dvorak and Michael McCarron each had three goals and three assists to power the London Knights to an 11-4 win over the Sarnia Sting in Ontario Hockey League action on Wednesday.

Mitchell Marner scored two goals and helped on three others for the Knights (23-10-3), who were a perfect 4 for 4 on the power play. Chandler Yakimowicz, Aaron Berisha and Victor Mete rounded out the attack for London, which has won eight of its last nine games.

Jakob Chychrun led the Sting (18-14-3) with a goal and two assists. Noah Bushnell, Daniel Nikandrov and Jake O'Donnell also scored.

Knights goalie Michael Giugovaz stopped 17 shots in the win.

Taylor Dupuis started in net for Sarnia, giving up six goals on nine shots through 20 minutes of action. Justin Fazio stopped 13-of-18 shots in relief.

The Sting scored twice on four chances with the man advantage.

NORTH BAY, Ont. — Zach Poirier scored the lone goal at 4:43 of the second period to lift the Battalion over Ottawa.

Evan Cormier stopped 12 shots to get the shutout for the Battalion (17-9-6).

Leo Lazarev made 12 saves for the 67's (17-14-3).

WHALERS 6 SPITFIRES 4

WINDSOR, Ont. — Connor Chatham's power-play goal just 33 seconds into the third period held up as the winner as Plymouth topped the Spitfires.

Victor Crus Rydberg led the Whalers (12-21-3) with a goal and two assists while Mitch Jones, Nicholas Caamano, and Vincent Scognamiglio rounded out the attack. Josh Wesley added an empty-net goal at 19:38 of the third period to seal the victory.

Liam Murray and Trevor Murphy had a goal and an assist apiece for Windsor (13-21-1), and Ryan Moore and Cristiano DiGiacinto also scored.

ERIE, Pa. — Nicholas Baptiste scored two goals and assisted on another to lift the Otters over Guelph.

Trent Fox and Dylan Strome rounded out the offence for Erie (26-7-3), while Alex DeBrincat chipped in with three assists.

Jason Dickinson and Tyler Bertuzzi had a goal and an assist apiece for the Storm (20-14-2). Adam Craievich also scored.

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. — Josh MacDonald scored a tiebreaking goal 45 seconds into the second period and Peterborough held on to edge the IceDogs.

Michael Clark and Matt Spencer also scored for the Petes (12-18-4), who were outshot 42-22.

Matt Gillard and Carter Verhaeghe supplied the offence for Niagara (12-21-2).

COLTS 6 BULLS 1

BARRIE, Ont. — Joseph Blaindisi scored two goals and assisted on two more to power the Colts past Belleville.

Brendan Lemieux also struck twice for Barrie (21-12-1), which scored four power-play goals on 10 chances. Kevin Labanc had a goal and three helpers and Justin Scott rounded out the offence.

David Tomasek had the lone goal for the Bulls (17-15-3), who were 0 for 8 with the man advantage.
