OSHAWA, Ont. - Cole Cassels scored all three of his goals on the power play as the Oshawa Generals downed the Niagara IceDogs 4-2 on Friday night to win their second-round Ontario Hockey League playoff series 4-1.

Oshawa finished the game by going 3 for 4 on the man advantage.

Matt Mistele opened the scoring for the Generals in the first period while Ken Appleby made 19 saves in net.

Ryan Mantha and Brian Brosnan chipped in with goals for Niagara, which got 21 saves from Brandon Hope.

The IceDogs were held scoreless on three power-play chances.
