BOISBRIAND, Que. - Danick Martel had a hat trick to lead the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada to a 7-3 victory over the Quebec Remparts on Saturday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League play.

Philippe Bureau-Blais, Philippe Sanche, Brendan Hamelin and Charlie Roy supplied the rest of the offence for the Armada (22-11-5). Nikita Jevpalovs added three assists for Blainville-Boisbriand, which has now won three straight.

Nikolas Brouillard, Vladimir Tkachev and Guillaume Gauthier scored for Quebec (25-13-2).

Samuel Montembeault turned aside 26 shots for the win. Callum Booth started in goal for the Remparts and stopped 15-of-20 shots in 40 minutes. Sandro Silvestre went the rest of the way, kicking out eight shots.

The Armada converted on five of their eight power plays while Quebec went 1 for 4.

RIMOUSKI, Que. — Maxime St-Cyr scored both goals as Baie-Comeau edged the Oceanic.

Philippe Cadorette made 24 saves in net for the Drakkar (21-11-6).

Tyler Boland replied for Rimouski (24-12-3) with Louis-Philip Guindon turning away 37 shots in the loss.
