QMJHL: Olympiques dominate Tigres
Yan Pavel Laplante scored four goals and added an assist as the Gatineau Olympiques routed the Victoriaville Tigres 9-5 on Sunday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

GATINEAU, Que. - Yan Pavel Laplante scored four goals and added an assist as the Gatineau Olympiques routed the Victoriaville Tigres 9-5 on Sunday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.
Louick Marcotte had a six-point night — including four assists — for the Olympiques (29-31-6). Elie Berube, Alexandre Carrier and Valentin Zykov rounded out the attack.
Samuel Blais countered with a hat trick for Victoriaville (27-33-6), which dropped its fifth straight. Angelo Miceli and Carl Marois also chipped in.
Francois Brassard made 36 saves for the win in goal. Olivier Tremblay turned away 20-of-25 shots in 40 minutes for the Tigres. Chase Marchand kicked out 15-of-18 shots in 19:33 of relief.
Gatineau failed to score on two power-play chances while Victoriaville went 3 for 4.

SHERBROOKE, Que. — Tim Wieser scored twice and had an assist as the Phoenix downed Rouyn-Noranda.
Aaron Hoyles, Cameron Darcy and Nicolas Poulin also had goals for Sherbrooke (35-25-6).
Francis Perron chipped in with a goal on the power play in the first period for the Huskies (32-30-4).
Rouyn-Noranda's Antoine Waked was ejected at 1:19 of the third period for charging.

Fabrizio Ricci, Yvan Mongo, Alexander Katerinakis, Miguel Picard and Nikita Jevpalovs rounded out the attack for the Armada (39-17-9), who snapped a three-game skid.
Philippe Pelletier-Leblanc scored the lone goal for Drummondville (25-37-4).
