MONCTON, N.B. - Conor Garland scored twice and added two assists as the Moncton Wildcats doubled up the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 8-4 on Saturday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Taylor Burke had a pair of goals for Moncton (45-17-3) while Ivan Barbashev added a goal and three assists. Stephen Johnson, Dominic Talbot-Tassi and Matthew Klebanskyj rounded out the attack. Garrett Johnston also had three assists.

Christophe Boivin and Mark Simpson each struck twice for the Titan (16-43-7).

Alex Dubeau made 27 saves for the Wildcats while Daniel Vautour kicked out 27-of-34 shots in 58:38 for Acadie-Bathurst.

Moncton scored twice on 10 power plays while the Titan went 1 for 5.

BAIE-COMEAU, Que. — Michael Joly had a goal and two assists as Rimouski held on to beat the Drakkar.

Anthony Chapados, Andrew Picco and Alexis Loiseau also scored for the Oceanic (44-16-5).

Matthieu Desautels chipped in with a goal and two assists for Baie-Comeau (34-24-8). Jeremy Gregoire and Simon Chevrier rounded out the attack.

Evgeny Svechnikov chipped in with a goal for the Screaming Eagles (30-30-6).

Cape Breton's Colin MacSween was ejected at 9:44 of the second period after receiving a penalty for checking to the head.

SAINT JOHN, N.B. — Danny Moynihan had a hat trick as Halifax beat the Sea Dogs.

Winnipeg Jets prospect Nikolaj Ehlers scored twice and added two assists for the Mooseheads (31-28-6). Connor Moynihan and Timo Meier supplied the rest of the offence.

Thomas Chabot, Justice Dundas, Mark Tremaine and Jakub Zboril found the back of the net for Saint John (31-26-9).
