The Toronto Raptors utilized their global ambassador - star rapper Drake - to unveil the team's 2015-16 uniforms on Monday night.

Drake took the stage to headline his own OVO Fest at Toronto's Molson Amphitheatre in one of the team's new kits. Minutes later, the team launched a formal unveil.

Four jerseys were unveiled: home whites, road reds, a road alternate in black and a fourth jersey in black and gold. The black and gold jersey makes reference to Drake's own signature colours.

Toronto's jerseys make allusions to the team's "We the North" slogan via upward facing arrows along the side and a tag with the slogan on the inside of the jersey.

The new uniforms also feature a maple leaf, the Raptors' claw basketball logo and "T.O." stitched onto the shorts.

Drake took to the stage wearing a Cory Joseph alternate road jersey: a ubiquitous black and gold No. 6, alluding to the Toronto nickname he helped popularize.
