The Indianapolis Colts added to their defensive unit Sunday morning by signing free-agent linebacker Sean Spence to a one-year, $3 million contract, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The 26-year-old played with the Tennessee Titans last season, picking up 37 tackles and three sacks as well as a forced fumble over 15 games. Spence played his first two seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers after the team selected him in the third round of the 2012 Draft.

Spence played his college ball at Miami.
