Tony Romo may have to wait until next year to suit up for the Dallas Cowboys again.

According to ESPN's Ed Werder, the Pro Bowl quarterback is reportedly done for the season after hurting his left collarbone during a blowout loss to the undefeated Carolina Panthers Thursday.

Romo, 35 was sacked by linebacker Thomas Davis on the final play of the third quarter and did not return to the game. The injury looks similar to the broken left collarbone he suffered in Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Cowboys (3-8) lost all seven games during Romo's absence before finally winning when he returned to action last week against the Miami Dolphins.
