Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan will opt out of his contract at season's end, reports Brian Lewis of The New York Post.

The 26-year-old DeRozan has one year remaining on a four-year, $38 million deal, but has the option to terminate the final year and head to unrestricted free agency.

Lewis notes that Atlantic Division rivals, the Brooklyn Nets, will be interested in the Compton, California native's services. The Nets are expected to have significant space under the salary cap in the summer.

“I can tell you he’ll opt out," a source tells Lewis. "But how he feels about Brooklyn — or anybody else — I can’t say. Only he can answer that."

DeRozan is in his seventh NBA season, all with the Raptors, after having been taken ninth overall out of Southern California in the 2009 NBA Draft.

Through 37 games this season, DeRozan has averaged 22.6 points, 4.2 assists and 4.2 rebounds in 36.5 minutes a night. He is shooting .444 from the field and .302 from behind the arc.

DeRozan was named an All-Star in 2014.
