Duron Carter appears to have chosen his NFL team.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the former Montreal Alouettes wide receiver is "closing in" on an agreement with the Indianapolis Colts.

Carter, son of NFL Hall of Famer Cris Carter, was named a CFL All-Star in just his second season with the Alouettes. The 23-year-old had 75 catches for 1,030 yards and seven touchdowns in 2014 and 124 catches for 1,939 yards and 12 touchdowns during his two-year CFL career.

CBS Sports reported earlier this month up to 15 teams were interested in signing Carter.

Carter is free to formally sign south of the border in February 10.
