Another brother from the infamous Ball family is apparently ready to try his hand at the NBA.

LiAngelo Ball, the younger brother of Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo, has declared for the 2018 NBA Draft, per his agent, Harrison Gaines, via Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports. Charania reports that Ball has submitted early-entry paperwork to enter the June draft.

Ball, 19, signed a contract to play for professional Lithuanian team, Vytautas Prienu, in December after leaving UCLA following the shoplifting scandal in China involving Ball and two other Bruins players. LaMelo, the youngest of the Ball brothers, has played alongside LiAngelo with Vytautas Prienu since the two made their debut for the club in January.

"LiAngelo is expected to work out for several NBA teams when he returns from playing for Vytautas and will participate in the Pro Basketball Combine at IMG Academy (Florida) in May in front of team executives," writes Charania. "As NBA teams increasingly value 3-point shooting and defending wings, Ball will have an opportunity to prove to teams that he is a potential draft pick."

Per Charania, LiAngelo, a 6-foot-5 guard/forward, is averaging 15.7 points and 2.9 rebounds and is shooting 45 per cent from 3-point range in nine games for Vytautas Prienu.
