Report: Ticats' Norwood out with torn ACL

It appears the Hamilton Tiger-Cats will be without one of their best defensive players for Sunday's Eastern Final against the Ottawa Redblacks.

According to Drew Edwards of the Hamilton Spectator, defensive end Eric Norwood is out with a torn ACL.

This season, the South Carolina product registered seven sacks with one interception and two fumble returns for touchdowns.

Tiger-Cats linebacker Simoni Lawrence offered his support for Norwood on Twitter.
