Duron Carter may not be long for Montreal.

According to Jason La Canfora of CBS, the Alouettes receiver is expected to garner interest from up to 10 NFL teams when he becomes free to negotiate south of the border on December 1.

Carter caught 75 passes for 1,030 yards and seven touchdowns with the Alouettes this season.

La Canfora adds that the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers are among the teams likely to pursue Carter, however the Indianapolis Colts are expected to emerge as the front runner for the 23-year-old.

Carter cannot formally sign an NFL contract until February.

Carter is the son of Pro Football Hall of Fame receiver Chris Carter.
