With Darian Durant still ailing from an elbow injury, the Saskatchewan Roughriders will start 41-year-old quarterback Kerry Joseph in Sunday's Western Semifinal against the Edmonton Eskimos.

Durant suffered a torn tendon in his throwing elbow in a win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Sept. 7 and was expected to miss the rest of season. Although, he returned to practice last Monday and there was hope he would be healthy enough to get the start.

Joseph, who came out of retirement to join the Riders in early October, has thrown for 606 yards with four touchdowns and five interceptions in four games with Saskatchewan this season.
