The Saskatchewan Roughriders brought back a familiar face Monday as the team signed international slotback Jamel Richardson to a contract.

The 32-year-old missed all of the 2014 season after being cut by the Montreal Alouettes in June, but had played the previous six seasons with the club. He played the first four years of his career in Regina.

Richardson tore his ACL and LCL midway through the 2013 season as a member of the Alouettes and missed the rest of the year. He hasn't played in a game since.

Richardson has 8,069 yards receiving and 52 touchdowns over his 10 year CFL career. He has two Grey Cup victories under his belt (2009, 2010) and won the Grey Cup MVP in 2010.
