The Calgary Stampeders have placed national running back Jon Cornish and international defensive lineman DeQuin Evans on the six-game injury list.

Cornish suffered a broken thumb in Calgary's overtime loss to the Ottawa Redblacks Friday night in the nation's capital. Cornish played the first half, but didn't come back out for the second after the injury.

Evans injured his right hamstring on the opening kickoff of the same game.

Cornish has been the CFL's Most Outstanding Canadian the past three seasons. He entered Friday's contest as the league's second leading rusher with 285 yards. He added 20 yards on seven carries to go along with a touchdown against the Redblacks.

With Tuesday's moves, the Stampeders activated international running back Tory Harrison and international defensive back Ciante Evans from the practice roster.
